We went to Waterford on our school trip. We went on the Suir Valley Train in Kilmeaden and then we went to Pirate's Adventure in Tramore. We had a hot lunch there. We had great fun bowling, playing crazy golf and going on electric bikes.
We visited the local apple farm. We listened to Ella and she told us all about the fruit they grow there. We rubbed the donkey and played on the swings.We tasted strawberries and apple juice. They were delicious.
We discussed mini beasts and we made ladybugs in Art.
We brought our teddy bears to school for 'Show & Tell' and we performed a teddy bear song with them at assembly for the rest of the school.

Our Aistear theme for March was 'Health & well-being'. Michael who works as a paramedic visited us to talk about his job and show us an ambulance.
We visited the library in Clonmel. We went on a bus. We listened to stories and coloured pictures. Ann Marie said we were very good and gave us a chocolate treat going home.
We learned all about the changes that happen in Spring. We also matched baby animals to their mothers. We planted sunflower seeds today and we will watch them grow and look after them over the coming weeks.

We made pots with clay and then painted them and gave them as presents for Mothers Day.

We are learning about people who play in Geography. We visited the local playground today.
We celebrated 'Grandparents Day' as part of Catholic schools week. Our grandparents visited the classroom and listened to us singing and watched us playing. Then we all went to mass in the school hall. We said a special prayer for all the grandparents in heaven.
